ACLS SHORT FILM PROJECT
COMMUNITY LANGUAGE SCHOOLS: CONNECTING LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
These short films celebrate the stories, voices, and experiences of Community Language Schools across NSW. Created in collaboration with Why Documentaries and with funding from Multicultural NSW, these films offer an authentic glimpse into the classrooms and communities where language, culture, and identity come to life. From personal stories to shared experiences, the films highlight the powerful role CLS plays in strengthening cultural pride, connection, and belonging for young people and their families. Watch and be inspired by the communities keeping languages and traditions alive for future generations.
ACLS would like to extend a huge thank you to the principals, teachers, students, and families of our member schools who participated in this project. Your enthusiasm, stories, and support made these films possible.
